For monthly retainers, invoice on the same date each month (e.g. the 1st or the 15th). Consistency reduces payment friction and makes it easier for the client's accounts team to schedule the payment.
How the next due date is calculated
Weekly adds 7 days, monthly adds one calendar month, and quarterly adds three calendar months to the current invoice date. Use it as a reminder — you'll want to actually resend the invoice each cycle, either from this tool or your accounting software.
