What the Invoice Generator does
A generic invoice is a billing document that lists the goods or services provided, their cost, and the total amount a customer owes, along with payment terms and a unique reference number. It is the default document for businesses that don't need jurisdiction-specific tax fields like GST or VAT.
Methodology and formula
Grand total = Sum(quantity x unit price for each line item) + (Subtotal x Tax rate) − Discounts, with each invoice tied to a unique sequential invoice number.
