About the GST Invoice Generator
CGST + SGST vs IGST
When the place of supply is in the same state as the supplier, GST is split equally into CGST (Central) and SGST (State). When the supply crosses state lines, the entire GST is levied as IGST (Integrated). Toggle the intra/inter-state switch and the totals recalculate automatically.
GSTIN and HSN codes
A compliant tax invoice must include the supplier's and recipient's GSTIN (where registered) and a valid HSN or SAC code for each line item. This tool gives you dedicated fields for both so nothing is missed at filing time.
Rounding and totals
GST amounts are calculated per line and then summed, which matches the approach expected by GSTR-1 filings. The invoice shows taxable value, individual tax components, and the final grand total.
