BusinessTools.Online is a free collection of business calculators and document generators built for small business owners, freelancers, and agencies in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, Ireland, New Zealand, and beyond.

Why this exists

Most invoice generators, payroll calculators, and pricing tools online are either locked behind a signup wall, buried in ads, or built for one country's tax rules while quietly getting it wrong for everyone else. BusinessTools.Online started as a simple fix: free tools that work in your browser, no account required, built with the actual formulas and document standards used in the countries they're meant for.

Who's behind it

BusinessTools.Online is built and maintained by Mudit Agarwal, an independent developer who kept running into free tools that either buried the calculator under three signup prompts or used the wrong formula for the country the visitor was in. There's no large team behind this yet — it's a solo project, and that's exactly why every tool is built to be simple, direct, and free of the bloat larger platforms add to upsell you.

How the tools are built and checked

Every calculator and generator on this site is built from public, official sources — for example, IRS and HMRC guidance for tax-related tools, and standard financial formulas (published, verifiable methods, not proprietary guesses) for calculators like break-even, markup, and loan amortization.
